Jet have announced details of their first UK tour in over two years.
The Aussie band will be playing in support of their new album ’Shine On’, which is the follow-up to their 2003 debut ’Get Born’.
The album is set to be released on October 2. It's preceded by a single, 'Put Your Money Where Your Mouth Is', on September 18.
After Jet play the Carling Weekend: Reading And Leeds Festivals on the Radio 1/NME Stage later this month, the band will return to play five dates towards the end of the year.

As previously reported by NME.COM, drummer Chris Cester did not mince his words about the band's ambitions for the record, saying: “The first album was written for pubs. This one is written for stadiums!”
