Chris Cornell and Jet added to Hyde Park Calling

Ex-Audioslave and Soundgarden frontman Chris Cornell and Jet have been confirmed as the support acts for Aerosmith at this year's Hyde Park Calling festival in London.

Cornell recently returned to solo duty with the theme for Bond film 'Casino Royale', and will be releasing his new album ‘Carry On’ in the summer.

British band The Answer will be opening the event, which takes place on June 24.

Aerosmith will be playing their first 'proper' UK concert in eight years.
