Jet's Nic Cester rushed to hospital after collapsing onstage

Jet frontman Nic Cester was taken to hospital last night (August 11) after collapsing twice onstage at the London Hard Rock Café.

The frontman for the Australian rockers was held overnight at the University College Hospital and was treated for symptoms of gastroenteritis, acute vomiting and dehydration.

Cester passed out shortly into the band's set. He recovered and continued with the show, but then collapsed again. He was escorted offstage then taken to hospital in an ambulance.

Jet continued their performance without their singer, playing 'Holiday', 'Beat On Repeat' and 'Get What You Need' as a three-piece.

The band are set to play an acoustic show at the London Parker McMillan club tomorrow night (August 12). Cester has been passed fit to appear.

They are also due to play at the V Festival, which takes place on August 22-23.
