Jim Noir pens theme for World Cup ad

Up and coming indie star Jim Noir is set to feature in Adidas' forthcoming World Cup TV ad campaign.

The sportswear giant have elected to use the singer's 'Eanie Meany' from his 'Tower Of Love' album, as the theme for the commercial which will be screened in the run up to the tournament.

Reflecting the song’s nostalgic lyrics: “If you don’t give my football back / I’m gonna get my dad on you”, the advert (known as ‘Impossible Team’) shows a host of football stars joining two young boys for a spot of street soccer.

The singer is due to release his new single, 'My Patch', backed by a remix from Hot Chip, on May 8.
