Anthology of rare Jimi Hendrix tracks announced
Career-spanning collection features live and unheard material
An anthology of rare and unreleased Jimi Hendrix material is set for release as a boxset.
'West Coast Seattle Boy - The Jimi Hendrix Anthology', is set to feature a wealth of live and previously unheard songs spanning the guitarist's short career.
The deluxe box set, which is made up of four CDs and a DVD featuring the 90-minute documentary 'Jimi Hendrix: Voodoo Child', will be released on November 15.
An alternative take of 'Love Or Confusion' will also be released as a single on September 27.
The collection includes 45 unreleased Jimi Hendrix live and studio recordings, including demos and alternate versions of songs from his three studio albums, 'Are You Experienced', 'Axis: Bold As Love' and 'Electric Ladyland' alongside his singles with The Isley Brothers, Little Richard and Don Covay.
'West Coast Seattle Boy - The Jimi Hendrix Anthology' also includes his never before heard version of Bob Dylan's 'Tears Of Rage', live performances from the legendary Band Of Gypsys Fillmore East concert on New Year's Eve 1969 along with new songs 'Hear My Freedom', 'Hound Dog Blues' and 'Lonely Avenue'.

Also out on November 12 are reissues of 'Jimi Hendrix Experience: BBC Sessions' and 'Jimi Hendrix: Blues', his legendary 'Live At Woodstock' performance, and Jimi Hendrix Christmas EP 'Merry Christmas & A Happy New Year'.
