Jimi Hendrix Woodstock performance to be released on DVD
JIMI HENDRIX’s legendary WOODSTOCK performance is to be released in its entirety on DVD.

Previously, only part of the guitarist’s infamous set at the 1969 festival was included in the original 1970 Woodstock film.

The unedited and remastered performance is to be released on September 12 as ’Jimi Hendrix: Live At Woodstock (The Deluxe Edition)’.

Original Hendrix studio album sound engineer, Eddie Kramer was brought in to remaster the video footage into 5.1 Surround Sound.

The DVD will also include a bonus disc of the concert filmed independently in black and white. The same disc includes a rare Hendrix Woodstock press conference, interviews with fellow musicians Billy Cox and Larry Lee.

Also featured will be an exclusive documentary hosted by Eddie Kramer about the recording of Hendrix’s performance at Woodstock.
