Jimmy Eat World cover Taylor Swift – watch

The band played 'We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together' on Conan O'Brien's talk show last night

Jimmy Eat World performed Taylor Swift's 'We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together' last night on Conan O'Brien's US talk show.

The band have been performing their version of the pop song during their current North American tour, which is taking place before the band play an eight date tour of the UK and Ireland in September. They will then return for a show at London's O2 Academy Brixton on November 19.

The band released their eighth album 'Damage' last month. Speaking to Rolling Stone about the album, frontman Jim Adkins said: "I hate saying more raw, but it's more raw and warm." He added: "I would describe it as an attempt at making an adult break-up record."

The band recently stopped by the NME office to record a cover of Rihanna's 'Only Girl (In The World)'. You can watch footage of the performance here.

Jimmy Eat World will play:

Birmingham O2 Academy (September 5)
Dublin Olympia (6)
Belfast Limelight (7)
Glasgow O2 Academy (9)
Newcastle O2 Academy (10)
Manchester O2 Academy (13)
Bristol O2 Academy (14)
Leeds O2 Academy (15)
London O2 Academy Brixton (November 19)
