SOME MIGHT SLEIGH

JJ72 have announced details of a new single, 'SNOW', released on January 29, which will coincide with their appearance on the NME CARLING AWARDS TOUR later in the month.

The single, which was originally released last February, will be backed by new track 'Wounded', the original demo of 'Surrender' and rare track 'Gherkin', which featured on the original pressings of the 'October Swimmer' single.

JJ72 mainman Mark Greaney previously told NME.COM that the band planned to record a version of the Pet Shop Boys 1987 Number One hit 'It's A Sin' as a B-side, but that is now not the case for this release.

The single coincides with their appearance alongside Alfie, Amen and Starsailor on the NME Carling Awards tour, which calls at:

Glasgow CMU (January 21)
Newcastle University (22)
Leeds Metropolitan University (23)
Sheffield University (25)

Manchester University (27)
Oxford Brookes University (29)
