JLS have pulled out of their planned performance at today's (July 10) T4 On The Beach after an apparent row with the event's organisers.

The boyband nixed the gig in Weston-Super-Mare at the last minute after claiming they were refused a soundcheck and camera rehearsal.

Breaking the news to fans on their Twitter page, Twitter.com/jlsofficial, the group said they were "gutted" adding: "It's not faaaaaaair."

"We are SO sorry that we are not performing..it's something that was beyond our control..as a 4 piece live singing band there is no way we can do such a huge show without a soundcheck or camera rehearsal.

"We are extremely disappointed to let you all down," they wrote.

In a statement on T4's website, event organisers blamed "technical issues" for the cancellation of JLS' slot.

The likes of The Wombats, Example, The View, Katy B and Scouting for Girls are all due to play at the outdoor gig in Somerset today.

JLS lost out to Jonas Brothers in the Worst Band category at this year's Shockwaves NME Awards.
