Debut album with band [B]'Rock, Art And The X-Ray Style'[/B] set for Autumn release...
Joe Strummer has announced an eight-date tour of the UK, his first with new band The Mescaleros.
The tour calls at
Nottingham Rock City (October 18) Leeds Town & Country (19) London WC2 Astoria (21) Norwich UEA (23) Cardiff University (25) Wolverhampton Civic Hall (26) Manchester Academy (28) Glasgow Barrowlands (29)
The Mescaleros' debut single, 'Yalla Yalla', will be released on August 9 on Strummer's own label Casbah Records, through Mercury. It will be followed in October by the 'Rock, Art And The X-Ray Style' album.
'Yalla Yalla' was co-written by Richard Norris from The Grid.
