Bauhaus man for Joe Strummer tribute

A tribute to Joe Strummer will be held at the Los Angeles Key Club next month.

Eighties goth-rockers Love And Rockets will host the event honouring the legendary Clash man, with proceeds going toward Strummerville, a charity for musicians founded in his name.

Several artists are set to perform Strummer-penned tunes at the event on December 22, including Bauhaus' David J, The Wilderness Years, and Hellride featuring Mike Watt, Steven Perkins and Peter Distefano.

Chris Salewicz, author of the Stummer biography 'Redemption Song', will co-host the evening.
