The punk veteran's new band get ready to promote their imminent second LP...

"http://www.nme.com/NME/External/Artists/Artist_Page/0,1226,176251,00.html">JOE STRUMMER AND THE MESCALEROS[/url] have announced details of UK tour dates in November and a limited edition vinyl release in July.

The single, 'Johnny Appleseed', will be limited to 2,000 copies on seven-inch vinyl only, and is released on July 9 through Hellcat/Epitaph. It is followed on July 16 by an album, 'Global A Go Go'.
p>Strummer then takes his Mescaleros on tour in the US, with instore dates lined up in July and August, going Stateside again for theatre dates in October, before returning for the UK dates in November.
