John Lennon's legendary spectacles, worn during the recording of his 'IMAGINE' album, are to be put on display.
The glasses, which have an orange tint to the lens, are reported to be valued at approximately £1 million.
They are to be put on display from Thursday (July 18) in the 'orange room' at the Beatles Story Museum in Liverpool's Albert Dock.
Mike Byrne, director of The Beatles Story, told BBC news: "You can't get much closer to the real John Lennon than seeing life through the very spectacles he wore to create some of his most memorable music."
John Lennon was murdered in 1980 outside his home in New York. 'Imagine', the most famous of his post-Beatles albums, was released in 1971.
