Yoko compiles Lennon tribute book

To commemorate the 25th anniversary of his death, John Lennon’s widow Yoko Ono[B] has complied a written tribute to the singer featuring personal contributions from friends, family and collegues.

The star was killed on December 8, 1980. He was shot dead outside his [B]New York
apartment by deranged fan Mark Chapman.

“When John passed away so suddenly that night, I felt as though half of me fly away with him,” Ono writes in 'Memories Of John Lennon'.

Iggy Pop, Mick Jagger and Ray Charles are amongst the numerous celebrity testaments written about the former Beatle.

'Memories Of John Lennon' goes on sale on December 1.
