New owner George Michael takes it to Dallas

John Lennon’s old piano made an appearance in Dallas yesterday (November 22) at the Grassy Knoll where President John F Kennedy was assinated.

The piano, on which wrote ’Imagine’, was brought to the US by its' owner George Michael for exhibition at the Goss Gallery in Dallas.

Gallery spokeswoman Barbara Buzzell explained: “George and Kenny (Goss, the star's partner) are very focused on world peace and they wanted to bring the piano here as a message of peace at this iconic site."

According to Reuters the piano spent the morning covered in canvas at the infamous “grassy knoll”, the scene where many conspiracy theorists believe Kennedy was shot from at on November 22, 1963. Yesterday marked the 43rd anniversary of the shooting.
