PEEL, DYLAN FOR UK HALL OF FAME

Channel 4 series to honour duo…

JOHN PEEL and Bob Dylan, are to be honoured by CHANNEL 4.


The station’s UK Music Hall Of Fame is set to return this autumn and the late DJ is to be given honorary membership while the troubadour will be this year's first inductee.


There will be a series of programmes and documentaries featuring Peel and Bob Dylan before the programme's selection committee begins announcing the artists for inclusion this year. Tranmission dates are yet to be confirmed.


Last year The Beatles, Bob Marley, Madonna, Cliff Richard, , The Rolling Stones, U2
and Robbie Williams became the inaugural members of the UK Music Hall of Fame.


Island Records founder Chris Blackwell was given Honorary Membership for services to the music industry.
