Stars align for June Carter Cash tribute

Her son releases biography the same day

Elvis Costello, Emmylou Harris, Willie Nelson and Sheryl Crow are among the stars contributing to a tribute album honouring country music singer June Carter Cash.

'Anchored In Love: A Tribute to June Carter Cash' comes out June 19 in the US via Dualtone Music Group, and was conceived and produced by John Carter Cash, the only child of Johnny and June.

Most of the album was recorded at the famous Cash Cabin Studio on the Cash estate in Hendersonville, Tennessee.

A memoir/biography written by John Carter Cash will also come out the same day. 'Anchored in Love: An Intimate Portrait of June Carter Cash' chronicles the country singer's life from her childhood to her struggles with success in the Carter Family band, as well as her fabled romance with Johnny Cash.

June Carter Cash died in Nashville, Tennessee on May 15, 2003 at the age of 73.
