Johnny Cash's daughter needs brain operation

Roseanne Cash has been forced to cancel four dates on her ‘Black Cadillac’ tour because she needs brain surgery.

The country singer, daughter of the late Johnny Cash, has a rare benign condition, which is “non-life threatening” according to her manager Danny Kahn.

Speaking to the Associated Press, Kahn said her condition, called Chiari I malformation is “nothing like a tumor or hemorrhage or anything. It's elective surgery."

Cash will reportedly have her surgery in a New York hospital.

The cancelled dates are:

Kansas City Voodoo Lounge (November 8)
Lafayette Loeb Playhouse, Purdue University (9)
Kent State Folk Festival (10)
Washington Coolidge Auditorium, Library of Congress (30)
