Family trio postpone Sunday’s concerts

Jonas Brothers cancel Mexican shows due to swine flu

Jonas Brothers have cancelled two upcoming shows in Mexico due to the ongoing problem of swine flu in the country.

The band are gearing up for their ‘Burnin’ Up’ world tour to promote their upcoming album ‘Lines, Vines & Trying Times’ which is scheduled to hit shelves on June 14.

"We know the situation is stabilizing and that many fans travel long distances to live the experience of seeing a Jonas Brothers concert," reps for the band said in a statement to Billboard. "That is why we hope that your experience and your enjoyment of the concert will be as pleasant as possible."

The Mexico shows were both due to take place on Sunday (May 17) but have been pushed back to July 31. Tickets for this weekend’s shows will be valid for the July shows.
