Outing kicks off June 25 in Halifax

Jose Gonzalez for Canadian tour
Jose Gonzalez has announced a run of dates in Canada, kicking off June 25 in Halifax.

The singer will be joined onstage by percussionist Andres Renterria and vocalist Joel Thbodeau on the tour, which includes stops at several festivals.

Gonzalez’ most recent release was a collaboration with The Books on Nick Drake's ‘Cello Song’, which was released on the ‘Red, Hot & Indie’ album.

In addition to the Canadian shows he will also perform at the Ann Arbor Summer Festival in Michigan on July 1.

The dates are:

Halifax, NS St. Matthew's Church (June 25)
Toronto, ON Toronto Jazz Festival (26)
Winnipeg Winnipeg Jazz Festival (27)
Vancouver, BC Vancouver Int'l Jazz Festival (28)
Saskatoon, SK Saskatchewan Jazz Festival (29)
Ann Arbor, MI Ann Arbor Summer Festival (July 1)
