Joss Stone gets special guests on new album

Joss Stone‘s new album will feature guest appearances from rapper Common and Fugees singer Lauryn Hill.

‘Introducing Joss Stone’ is the follow up to 2004’s ‘Mind, Body and Soul’ and was recorded in the Bahamas and mixed at the legendary Electric Lady studios in New York City.

Produced by Raphael Saadiq, who previously worked with Macy Gray and The Roots, Stone describes the record as “truly me. That’s why I’m calling it ‘Introducing Joss Stone’”. she explains. “These are my words, and this is who I am as an artist.”

Common and Hill both guest on the album, the latter rapping on the Fugees-inspired track ‘Music’.

Stone will play an intimate show each in New York and Los Angeles to preview the album, both of which are already sold out.

‘Introducing Joss Stone’ is released on March 20 in the US.

Los Angeles, CA House of Blues (January 31)
New York, NY Bowery Ballroom (February 8)
