Judas Priest have announced details of a UK tour.

The metal legends, who announced in December that their 2011 world tour would be their last, will play seven dates in their native country.

The trek begins at the Newport Centre on July 15 and finishes on July 24 at Bournemouth’s International Centre.

They will also play a headline slot at London’s High Voltage festival on July 23.

The band have confirmed that although this will be their last tour, they will continue to write and record together, and are currently working on new material.

Judas Priest will play:

Newport Centre (July 15)
Manchester O2 Apollo (16)
Doncaster Dome (17)
Glasgow SECC (19)
Newcastle Metro Radio Arena (20)
Wolverhampton Civic Hall (21)
Bournemouth International Centre (24)
