Julian Casablancas is planning to write a song for his favourite baseball team, the New York Mets.
The Strokes frontman said he's been recording rough versions of new songs into a "recording device", and added that one of his current ideas is writing something for the baseball team.
"I'm totally serious," the singer told Rollingstone.com. "I have some ideas, I have to see if they like it. I've got a jar stuffed with songs, all these ideas that are just me humming into a recording device."
Casablancas also revealed that he wants to produce a song for Pearl Jam, explaining that it "would be a dream" for him.
