The singer kicks off on January 20 in Bristol…

HEAD MUSIC!

JULIAN COPE is to embark on a new UK tour in January.


The dates will mark the singer’s first live shows with a band since his 2003 stint at Hammersmith’s Lyric Theatre.


Cope will play a series of shows in January including one at London’s Royal Festival Hall (January 21) which will also feature San Francisco’s Comets On Fire.


Julian Cope’s new album ’Citizen Cain’d’ is expected to be released in December through his own record label Head Heritage.


The dates are:

London Royal Festival Hall (21)

Wolverhampton Wulfrun Hall (22)

Sheffield Leadmill (23)

Liverpool Carling Academy (24)
