FESTIVALS - THE MIDDLE GROUND!

JUNIOR SENIOR, THE DARKNESS and The Bandits are all set to play the MIDDLESBOROUGH MUSIC LIVE FESTIVAL at the end of May.

The free festival, which takes place on May 26, will also include funk rockers Reef, Scottish alternative band Biffy Clyro and indie newcomers The Delays.

Over 100 bands will perform on eight stages across the town, with over 50,000 fans expected to attend.

Festival promoter Graham Ramsay said: "Our watchword is diversity, and to see a current Top Ten act like Junior Senior> - who are out and out pop - rubbing shoulders with bands that offer everything from hardcore metal to traditional folk music is very rewarding."

The festival is an all-day event, starting at 12pm and continuing until 10pm. For more information visit middlesbroughmusiclive.co.uk.
