A member of Jurassic 5 has had to undergo surgery after the band were involved in a bus crash while on tour in the US.
The LA hip-hop collective were on route to Huston, Texas, where they were scheduled to play a gig at the Astro Arena today (August 3), as one of the final dates on the nationwide Warped Vans Tour - which also features Green Day and NOFX.
Few details of the crash have emerged, but according to a brief posting on the band's offical website, www.jurassic5.com, most of the people involved are "banged up" but "fine". However, rapper Charlie 2Na was taken to hospital, where he underwent surgery for the injuries he sustained.
Following the completion of the US tour on August 6, Jurassic 5 return to the UK for shows at the V2000 Festival, at Hylands Park, Chelmsford, and Weston Park, Staffordshire over the weekend of August 19-20.
