Jurassic 5 announce trio of UK shows – ticket details
The original line-up of cult hip-hop collective Jurassic 5 are set to play three UK shows in June.

Chali 2na, Akil, Zaakir, Mark 7even, DJ Nu-Mark and Cut Chemist will appear at Glasgow O2 Academy on June 10, Birmingham O2 Academy on June 11 and London O2 Academy Brixton on June 13. Tickets go on sale at 9am [GMT] on March 22.

The group – who officially disbanded in 2007 – will kick off their reunion shows at the Coachella Valley Festival of Music and Arts next month in California.

The group formed in 1993, and released their acclaimed debut 'Jurassic 5' in 1998. The band followed it with 'Quality Control' in 2000 and 'Power In Numbers' in 2002. Cut Chemist left the collective in early 2006, ahead of the release of their final album, 'Feedback'.

Jurassic 5 play:

Glasgow O2 Academy (June 10)
Birmingham O2 Academy (11)
London O2 Academy Brixton (13)
