Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez are reported to have broken up, after dating for two years.

According to Us Weekly, the squeaky-clean teen pop couple split up because of their busy schedules. Bieber is currently promoting his second album 'Believe', while Gomez is filming a new programme for the Disney Channel.

"Selena broke up with Justin about a week ago," a source told the magazine. "It's been a really challenging experience over the last year because of their crazy schedules. Selena definitely had some major trust issues with Justin."

Another source in the same article, however, says the pair may get back together. "They are [young] . . . it changes from day to day. Right now it is a break and tomorrow it could be back on knowing them . . . it's hard to say how they will end up. Maybe she feels more serious about it this time. We'll see."

Showbiz website TMZ speculates that the pair may not have split up and the separation is just a "blip".
