Justin Bieber tackled by fan onstage in Dubai - watch

Audience member rushes toward singer but is taken down by security

A Justin Bieber fan was tackled by security guards after managing to get onto the stage at a gig in Dubai.

The pop star was performing at 7he Sevens Stadium on May 5, when the fan managed to get onstage and touch Bieber on the back while he was performing behind a piano. A security guard then rushed onto the stage and tackled him to the ground - knocking the piano over and forcing Bieber off the stage. See video footage of the drama below.

It is reported that Bieber took a short break from the stage following the incident before returning to the stage and performing his hit singles 'Baby' and 'Boyfriend'. Bieber's guitarist and musical director Dan Kanter later tweeted: "It wasn't a prank. Someone ran on stage during Believe and the piano got knocked off its platform. Everyone is fine. No need to worry!"

The Dubai saga is the latest in Justin Bieber's event-filled world tour and follows the singer's collapse during a performance at London's O2 Arena in March. The singer's tour bus was also recently the subject of a police raid with officials finding cannabis on board.

Bieber has also reportedly abandoned his pet monkey, after it was seized by customs officials in Germany last month. Mally the Bieber-monkey is being kept in quarantine by customs on the German border after the singer attempted to get the animal into the country without the correct legal documentation.
