Justin Bieber covers Metallica's 'Fade To Black' – watch

Pop singer tries to recreate the guitar solo from the original with his voice

A backstage video released by Justin Bieber shows the singer performing an impromptu cover of Metallica's 'Fade To Black'. Watch it above.

In the 15-second clip Bieber is seeing playing air guitar while he tries to recreate the guitar solo from Metallica's 1984 original with his voice. Bieber is accompanied by his musical director Dan Kanter on guitar.

Bieber has previously revealed that he is a big fan of early Metallica, singling out 'Fade To Black' and 1988's 'One' as his favourite tracks. "Those are my jams," he told GQ last year (2012).

Meanwhile, Deadmau5 has recently branded Bieber a "spoiled bitch" following a row over the pop star's reported demands that hip-hop be played instead of dance music in a nightclub.

Earlier this week (October 15) Metallica drummer Lars Ulrich revealed that the band are keen to play Glastonbury, saying they are "ready to go" as and when organiser Michael Eavis needs them.
