Justin Bieber has posted a picture of him posing with Rick Rubin, leading to rumours that the pair could be working together.

The popstar shared the photograph on social networking site shots, alongside the caption "With the man Rick". Rick Rubin founded Def Jam Records and has worked as a producer for everyone from Jake Bugg and Slayer to Kanye West, Johnny Cash and Black Sabbath.

It is thought that Bieber's fourth album will be released later this year. His last LP release was 2012's 'Believe'. At the end of last year, he was named as the world's highest-earning entertainer under 30.

In the Forbes list, Bieber was reported to have earned over £51 million ($80 million) between June 2013 and June 2014, largely based on revenue from a world tour.

In second place were One Direction, who made £47.8 million between them in the same time period, while 24-year-old Taylor Swift ranked third with earning of £40 million, reports Bang Showbiz.
