Nominations for MTV Europe Music Awards announced

Plus Justin Timberlake confirmed to host 2006 ceremony

Nominations for MTV Europe Music Awards announced

The nominations for this year’s MTV Europe Music Awards have been announced tonight (September 19).

Red Hot Chili Peppers lead the way, picking up four nominations, while Madonna, Shakira, Nelly Furtado, Christina Aguilera, Kanye West and Muse have all got three nods.

The ceremony takes place on November 2 in Copenhagen, Denmark, with Justin Timberlake set to host.
