Compilation features 2007 Award nominees
A new compilation featuring several of this year’s Grammy Award nominees has just been released in the US.
The aptly titled ‘2007 Grammy Nominees CD’ features music from artists including Paul McCartney, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Gnarls Barkley, Justin Timberlake, Christina Aguilera and Keane.
The 23 tracks come from nominees in major categories including Record Of The Year, Album Of The Year, Best New Artist, Best Male Pop Vocal Performance, and Best Female Pop Vocal Performance.
Proceeds from sales of the CD will benefit the MusiCares Foundation, which provides financial support to musicians in times of crisis, as well as the Grammy Foundation.
The 49th Annual Grammy Awards will be held on February 11 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.
