Justin Timberlake to star in 'Facebook: The Movie'
Singer set to play the part of Napster's co-founder
Justin Timberlake is set to play the part of Napster co-founder Sean Parker in a film about the evolution of Facebook.
Timberlake will appear in 'The Social Network', which is written by Aaron Sorkin (who wrote 'The West Wing') and executively produced by Kevin Spacey.
The film focuses on how the overnight success of Facebook changed the lives of those who were involved in it, reports Variety.
Timberlake's character Parker went on to become Facebook's founding president.
Joining the singer in the film will be 'The Squid And The Whale' actor Jesse Eisenberg, who plays Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg and Andrew Garfield, who appears as the site's co-founder Eduardo Saverin.
Production on the 'The Social Network' is scheduled to begin next month in Boston, before moving to Los Angeles.
