Kaiser Chiefs have taken home the Best Band award at the annual Nordoff-Robbins Silver Clef Awards.

The celebrity packed charity event, held at London's Park Lane Hilton, also saw Foo Fighters crowned Best International Band.

Editors scored the Best New Band award, whilst Californian soft-rockers The Eagles bagged the charity's Lifetime Achievement Award. Girls Aloud won The Song Award for their track 'See The Day', according to The Evening Standard.

Kaiser Chiefs took home two ShockWaves NME Awards earlier in the year, for Best Album and for Ricky Wilson as Best Dressed Male. They also won three Brit Awards in February.
