Kaiser Chiefs are to play a small European club tour this autumn to showcase new tracks from their forthcoming second album.

The band will head out for a eight-date club show jaunt in November, taking in dates in France, Germany, Denmark, Spain,Belgium and Holland.

The shows will give the Leeds five-piece the opportunity to test out tracks from their as-yet-untitled second LP. The Kaisers recently showcased five new tracks - 'Learnt My Lesson Well', 'Heat Dies Down', 'Everything Is Average Nowadays', 'Highroyds' and 'Angry Mob' - at the summer festivals they played.

Writing on their official website the band said: "These will be the first chance for us to properly mix the old with the new and play some tracks off our forthcoming second record alongside them popular ones. We're looking forward to playing a few shows where we can get close to you lot again."

Support acts are still to be confirmed, but The Pigeon Detectives and The Automatic have already signed up for the tour.

Kaiser Chiefs will play:

Paris Trabendo (November 8)
Antwerp Hof Ter Lo (10)
Amsterdam Melkweg (12)
Madrid Sala Heineken (14)
Milan Magazzini Generali (16)
Munich Klein Elser (19)
Berlin Kesselhaus (21)
Copenhagen Pumpehuset (23)
