Kaiser Chiefs score first Number One Kaiser Chiefs Tickets

Kaiser Chiefs have scored their first Number One after knocking Mika off the top spot.

The Leeds five-piece finally ended the singer's run of six weeks at the top after jumping up from last week's Number Two spot with hit single 'Ruby'.

Kelis' single 'Lil Star' went in at Number Three after climbing 12 places while Sophie Ellis Bextor was the highest entry, jumping 16 places to Number Eight with 'Catch You'.

Elsewhere, The Killers scored a new entry at 29 with 'Read My Mind', The Magic Numbers were in at 36 with 'This Is A Song' and Shockwaves NME Awards Indie Rock Tour stars Mumm-Ra went in at 40 with 'What Would Steve Do'.

Mika also lost out in the album chart after Amy Winehouse knocked him off the top spot with 'Back To Black'.

The Killers' album 'Sam's Town' also moved back into the Top Ten up seven places to Number Six.

9. Fall Out Boy - 'This Ain't A Scene It's An Arms Race '
10. Take That - 'Shine'
