Kaiser Chiefs brought true star power to New York’s Roseland Ballroom last night (April 12) playing a typically energetic set for a packed house.

Fans lined 52nd Street from late afternoon in order to gain front row positions for the show, the fourth on the band’s NME Presents tour of North America.

Having had a day off before the show, the band were on top form, with Ricky Wilson looking predictably sharp in a white button-down shirt, black tie and matching waistcoat.

Ripping through a selection of tracks from both their debut album ‘Employment’ and its follow-up ‘Yours Truly, Angry Mob’, the crowd went equally wild for new tracks and old.

‘Ruby’, ‘I Predict A Riot’ and ‘Everyday I Love You Less And Less’ garnered an ecstatic response from the audience, as did several tracks from their recently released album, sang word-for-word by the 3,000 strong crowd.

The band's tour now continues with the following shows:

Montreal QUE, Spectrum (17)
Toronto ONT, Kool Haus (18)
Chicago IL, Vic Theatre (20)
Minneapolic MN, Trocaderos (21)
Vancouver BC, Commodore Ballroom (24)
Seattle WA, Showbox Theatre (25)
Portland OR, Crystal Ballroom
San Francisco CA, Warfield
