Plus the band get ready for Coachella 2007

Kaiser Chiefs have confirmed they will release ’Everything Is Average Nowadays’ as their next single.

The track, taken from the band's current album ’Yours Truly, Angry Mob’, will be released on May 21.

B-sides are yet to be confirmed for the follow-up to Number One single 'Ruby'.

Meanwhile the band are currently in America on the NME Presents the Kaiser Chiefs tour. The play Seattle tonight (April 25) before heading to Portland (26) and San Francisco (27).

After the band will play the Coachella Festival, where NME.COM will be on site and covering in the event in full.
