Kaiser Chiefs wade into airport row

Band reportedly making music to stop Stansted expansion

Kaiser Chiefs are set to join the campaign against the expansion of a London airport.

According to The Observer today (February 3), the Leeds band are considering contributing a track to a charity album organised by the leaders of the Stomp Stansted Expansion Group.

The invite to join the cause follows comments by drummer Nick Hodgson at last year’s BRITS in support of the runway campaigners.

There is no indication of when the anti-aircraft album will be released.

Ugh, I live under the Stansted flightpath and whole-heartedly support the expansion plans. Guess I won't be buying this album then...

Well there's a helluva lot more of us who are 'whole heartedly' against this proposed mass destruction of countryside & communities and we will never stop fighting...and it seems that our army is growing...Loads of thanks and respect to The Kaiser Chiefs!
