Mark Ronson: 'New Kaiser Chiefs album sounds like Talking Heads'
Super-producer reveals more about the band's forthcoming record
Mark Ronson has revealed further details of the forthcoming third Kaiser Chiefs album, which he is producing.
The super-producer compared the album's sound to that of post-punk legends Talking Heads and Seventies rock/pop titans ELO, and suggested that Kaiser Chiefs fans may find the follow up to 2007's 'Yours Truly, Angry Mob' "bizarre".
"It's a bizarre, eccentric record for such a huge rock band to make – in a good way," he told BBC Newsbeat. "It's got elements of Talking Heads, Tom Tom Club, The Go-Gos, The Move and ELO."
