Kaiser Chiefs' Ricky Wilson is rumoured to be making his acting debut in the latest St Trinian's film, 'The Legend of Fritton's Gold'. Sources say the singer is set to play the boyfriend of Girls Aloud's Sarah Harding's character in the flick, which is due to be released this December. The source claimed: "Ricky was perfect [for the role]. He's really sending himself up as an obsessed bloke." They added that there won't be any sex scenes filmed between the two because Harding's character is "in school, after all" (Daily Mirror).

Dizzee Rascal got a surprise during a flight to Ibiza, when the pilot used the tannoy to announce his presence on board, saying "let's go bonkers!" to the rest of the passengers (Daily Star).
Klaxons frontman Jamie Reynolds was in Tokyo when Monday's (August 10) earthquake struck. He reportedly ran outside his hotel to make sure he wasn't dreaming the whole thing (The Sun).
Jermaine Jackson caught a baseball at an LA Dodgers game, while he was sitting in the crowd. He got a standing ovation when other fans realised who he was (The Sun).
Amy Winehouse had a BBQ in the back garden of her Barnet, north London home at the weekend (August 8) (Daily Star).
Lady Gaga says she wants a purple cup to be filled with tea at all times during her V Festival gigs on August 22-23 (Daily Mirror).
