Kaiser Chiefs' Ricky Wilson has apparently landed a role in the final Harry Potter film. The singer is set to make a cameo appearance in a scene which sees him fleeing bounty hunters loyal to Lord Voldemort. A source claimed: "Ricky's a huge Potter fan and has been skipping around on set." He is reportedly expected to appear in the second part of Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows. (The Sun)

Lady Gaga has defended a US school fan who was disciplined for wearing a T-shirt displaying the slogan: "Love Lady Gay Gay." The 'Telephone' singer posted on her Twitter account after Cole Goforth was sent home from a Tennessee High School: "Thank you for wearing your tee-shirt proud at school"(Daily Star).
Amy Winehouse is apparently set to team up with Usher after chatting over the phone about a possible duet. A source close to the singer said: "Amy personally called Usher asking her people to get his number. He was shocked to hear some cockney girl chatting away but finally believed it was Amy when she sang for him" (Daily Star).
Rihanna donned a skin-tight black rubber catsuit and strummed a Flying-V guitar for her recent appearance on American Idol. The singer performed her new single 'Rockstar 101' - minus Slash, who features on the track - against a backdrop of skulls and lightning bolts. She also apparently let slip Katy Perry and Russell Brand are planning to wed in India at the end of the year (The Sun).
Jeff Beck has reportedly insured his fingers for £700,000 after hacking off the top of one digit as he sliced carrots in his Sussex home (Daily Mirror).
