Kanye West has seemingly slammed Jay Z in the wake of wife Kim Kardashian’s robbery – with it also reported that Jay Z “can’t stand” Yeezy.
Earlier this month, Kim Kardashian was robbed at gunpoint in Paris – forcing West to cancel a string of dates.
Now West, whose had a long friendship and history of collaboration with Jay Z, has apparently hit out at the ’99 Problems’ rapper following his behaviour after the robbery.
“Don’t call me, after the robbery, and say ‘how you feelin?'” West told the crowd during a show on his Saint Pablo tour in Seattle this week. “You wanna know how I’m feelin? Come by the house. Bring the kids by the house. Like we’re brothers. Let’s sit down.
“I can’t take this shit bro. Our kids have never even played together.”
Meanwhile, a source has told Page Six that Jay Z can only tolerate Kanye West ‘in small doses’.
“Jay can’t stand him,” they said. “He looks at him as this crazy, eccentric motherfucker he can tolerate in small doses.”
Speaking of their ‘Watch The Throne’ collaboration and tour, they revealed “there was so much money to be made. Jay was like, ‘I’m gonna knock this out. We’re going to do a tour to bring in millions of dollars. I can tolerate that.’
“The reality is that Jay doesn’t want that much to do with him. He likes his own space and is private. They’re very much not the same person. Jay’s immediate circle is very insular, and Kanye is just a guy who always wants something in the spotlight.”
Meanwhile, this week saw Kanye reveal that ‘Watch The Throne 2’ was unlikely.
“Let me tell y’all something: there will never be a ‘Watch The Throne 2’,” he said. “You know why? ‘Cos that’s the reason we weren’t on [the album version of ‘Pop Style’] because of Hov [Jay Z]. Because of this Tidal/Apple bullshit. And this shit be getting me tight every time I perform this motherfucker!”
