Detroit gets a stellar line-up
Kanye West and Stevie Wonder are among the big names who will join The Rolling Stones in performing at the the XL Super Bowl.
The big game this year sees the Seattle Seahawks take on the Pittsburgh Steelers at Detroit's Ford Field (February 5).
As previously announced, the Stones will be headlining this year's half-time show. But organisers have also arranged a series of pre-game performances that pay respect to the Motor City's Motown roots, reports Rolling Stone. Stevie Wonder, who performed during half-time in 1999, will sing, with a number of younger soul artists joining him on his classics - including Kanye, Joss Stone, John Legend and India.Arie.
Aretha Franklin will also join New Orleans musicians Aaron Neville and Dr John for the national anthem. Franklin and Neville, who sang the anthem at the 1990 Super Bowl in his hometown, will sing, while pianist John and a 150-person backing choir will accompany them.
