Details of Kanye West’s first film role have started to emerge.
As well as appearing, the rapper-producer has signed on to executively produce a film inspired by his music.
With six writers and around half-a-dozen directors, the film will present a "multiperspective portrait of the United States as seen through the eyes of West and several filmmakers," according to the Hollywood Reporter.
The film will also feature new and existing music by West.
It’s currently unclear what role West will play on screen and a release date is yet to be confirmed.
