Kanye West premieres rap from new album
He references Will Smith and Lauryn Hill
Kanye West has premiered a rap from his forthcoming album ’Graduation’.
Speaking to hip-hop station Power 106, West said that as well as working on his third album, he was working on the new Common album ’Finding Forever’.
He previously premiered a rap from ’Diamonds From Sierra Leone’, which appeared on his 2005 album 'Late Registration', on the same station.
As well as namechecking Will Smith and Lauryn Hill , he rapped about his fashion status, saying: “I don’t see why I need a stylist/ when I shop so much I could speak Italian.”

'Graduation' is expected to be released later this year.
