Early reports suggest Kanye West is outselling 50 Cent in the battle between the rappers.
The acts, who both released albums this week, have been caught in a media battle to see who would get to Number One.
The ‘beef’ culminated with 50 Cent saying that if ’Curtis’ didn’t outsell West's new effort ’Graduation’ he would quit music.
He said: “I’ll write music and work with my other artists, but I won’t put out anymore solo albums.”
However,’Graduation’ is looking like it will top the charts in the US and the UK.
According to executives in the US, the album is projected to shift up to 700,000 copies this week, reports BBC News.
