Kanye West is set to produce tracks on Mos Def’s forthcoming new album.
The news came from Josh Deutsch, head of Downtown records, the independent label on which Mos Def’s new album will be released, as he spoke to Billboard.
It is yet to be announced how many songs West will produce on the album.
Mos Def was previously signed to Geffen records, but their relationship ended after his latest album, ‘Tru3 Magic’ was released last December without much promotion, after hefty delays.
