Kanye West vows to continue tour after mother's death

Rapper says he'll dedicate dates to Donda West

Kanye West has vowed to complete his current tour in honour of his late mother, Donda West, who died on November 10 following a plastic surgery procedure.

During a gig at the Brussells Vorst Nationaal venue on Sunday (November 18), West made an onstage tribute, outlining his plans to continue despite clearly being emotionally distraught.

“There's nothing that she loved more than to come to the show and scream louder than any fan,” he said.

“She was my first fan that was screaming before anyone else. If she was here, she would tell me, 'Get on that stage and kill it, dawg!’ That was her favourite word: 'Dawg'.

"She would tell me, 'Take over the world and be Number One like I taught you to be'.”

West heads to the UK tomorrow (November 22) for the UK leg of his tour, which includes a gig at the London O2 Arena.
